So, a few years ago I wound up working on a feature horror film called the THE SILENT DARKNESS and then later the title was changed to KISS OF EVIL. I was brought on pretty early on the production by my pal, David Harland Rousseau, who was serving as the art director and lead production artist. Eventually funding and the distribution deal fell through but it was a lot of fun to work on.
I'll be posting several scenes from both versions of the film, starting with the opening sequence in an old witch's cave.
First, THE SILENT DARKNESS version, the budget was bigger at this point as was the cast
And now, the KISS OF EVIL version, the budget was trimmed and the story was heavily streamlined. The basic events stay the same however.
